Jeff Lungren, ACMHC
Jeff Lundgren has a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Jeff has an associate license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. One of his idioms is “all roads lead to Walmart”. In other words, Jeff believes there are many paths to healing and fulfillment and the power for change exists in the individual. His approach is to help clients see that choices from the past are learning opportunities. He feels that good-bad assessments limit our ability to determine what is helpful or not helpful.
Jeff enjoys working with adults, couples, and teens. Jeff is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, family systems, solution-focused, and attachment-theory. Jeff works with individuals or families experiencing faith transitions and inter-faith relationships. He recognizes the importance of finding a spiritual center for healing, whether it comes from a religious tradition, found in nature (the outdoors), or in the human experience.
When Jeff isn’t working, he’s outside. He loves photography, hiking, and exploring new things and places.
